The team was invited to demonstrate at the Touch Compass Dance Company workshop last week and boy did we have fun! Touch Compass’s exciting new initiative InMotion has been designed to showcase diversity, human movement and technology. Most importantly, this provocative work will shine further light on the important theme of accessibility for all.
Ogo’s a winner – NZ Innovation Awards 2016, Design and Engineering. Great to get recognition for all the hard work. Well done Kevin and the team!
We’d like you to meet Stuart our new business manager, he’s here to help make sure the Ogo gets into production later this year!
There are a few questions we would like the Ogo community to answer so we can understand where the customers for our first production run are and what’s your level of disability. It’s only short and the Ogo team would really appreciate your input.
Thanks a lot,
Kevin had an interview with the wonderful people at SnapMunk this week!
Congratulations to Marcus! off to Portugal for the World Waveski Championships- Good luck from the rest of the team at Ogo!
“After 25 hours in the air I’m in Santa Cruz, Portugal. Very pretty …and warm.enough to put a smile on your face!” -Marcus
The new prototype’s underway! Body updates for a wider range of wheelchair users!
Thanks to the 500+ backers who wanted to make donations to our crowd funding campaign. Your support for the Ogo inspires us to keep up the momentum to get into production early next year.
Even after having received your Indiegogo refunds, many people are telling us they still want to send donations and we are very happy to accept that generous support from you. To make it possible for you to contribute we have set up a secure donations page on our brand new website!
Work on the latest prototypes are well under way- they includes our latest modifications, making it possible for a wider range of people to use. The donations that we receive will make it possible to get these next prototype models completed and tested among our enthusiastic community.
We will be telling this story on Facebook and Instagram as we go along so keep up the social media contact; your feedback and support really gets us humming along!
